The Zuellig Family Foundation (ZFF) helps improve the capacities of governors, mayors, local health officers, and regional health directors in creating an integrated local health system (LHS), focusing on strengthening primary health care toward Universal Health Care (UHC).

Nutrition

The country’s stunting rate has remained stagnant for the past two decades. The Food and Nutrition Research Institute (FNRI) data showed the 2019 stunting rate among 0 to 23-month-olds at 21.9%, up from 20.9% in 2003.

Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health

Teenage pregnancy prevention is a national priority, according to Executive Order (EO) 141 issued in June 2021. Prior to the EO, the Zuellig Family Foundation already has programs that create a nurturing environment to engage the youth.

Institute for Health Leadership

The core of Zuellig Family Foundation’s (ZFF) health leadership training fosters the understanding of the complexities of the health care system to enable health officers to realize their roles in addressing existing challenges and collaborate with others to manage them.
